Social Media Community Manager

Job Summary:

 

The Social Media Community Manager uses content, social media and networking tools to build and grow and

online and event community of healthcare leaders. As HealthLeaders community builder, you

will create content that draws leaders to the brand, engages those leaders with interpersonal

national events. This role would suit an energetic social media enthusiast who is looking to use

those skills to create a professional network.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create regular social media posts, videos, blogs, podcasts and related content to build community
  • Become a subject matter expert in the issues, concerns and opportunities within our leadership communities
  • Regularly conduct calls or interviews with community members to build relationships
  • Be an energetic, engaged member of the HealthLeaders leadership programs team at our local and national events
  • Be familiar with business social media best practices and tactics for engagement
  • Collaborate in creating branding and messaging with marketing and content teams
  • Be responsible for maintaining a set of performance metrics around community engagement

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Additional duties as assigned

The Individual:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications preferred
  • Superior business-to-business social media skills in several platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and others
  • Self-motivated with high level of initiative
  • Accountable; has a personal stake in delivering results
  • Detail oriented; highly organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • A natural relationship builder with the interpersonal skills and desire to draw people to the community
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, specifically LinkedIn
  • Knowledge of web content management, including basic knowledge of Drupal

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years as a community builder or content producer
