Product Director, Workflow Solutions

Job Summary
|The Product Director, Workflow & SaaS, is responsible for the conception, design, creation, fulfillment and support of workflow tool and SaaS product offerings across multiple markets including Human Capital Management (HCM), Healthcare (HC), and Telecommunications.

In partnership with multiple product and revenue cycle stakeholders including sales, marketing, content/editorial and software development, the position will be responsible for owning the P&L and strategic roadmap for all Workflow & SaaS solutions.

The position will report to the Chief Product Officer.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Directly manage a team responsible for the development and execution of the product roadmap for our HCM, HC, and Telecommunications workflow & SaaS products to ensure achievement of market/segment growth, customer penetration and revenue growth goals
  • As a general leader within the company, ensure that the entire organization understands the master product roadmap for Workflow & SaaS in context of overall product strategy, how that roadmap reflects our understanding of the current and future market demands, and how other company stakeholders can influence the roadmap and development pipeline priorities.
  • Lead the analysis of market & trend data, and make recommendations concerning workflow & SaaS product innovation strategy, including but not limited to organic product development and acquisition or partnership strategies
  • In partnership with content experts across all business divisions, utilize editorial content to create, design, fulfill and deliver workflow & SaaS products to customers while minimizing expenses and maximizing revenue
  • Collaborate with internal and external developers, designers, UI/UX leads, and QA analysts to bring these ideas to life through iterative design and development cycles to meet business goals
  • Manage an expense and revenue budget and fulfillment schedule aligned with the routine or scheduled release of products to meet customer demand or market cycle
  • Identify gaps in our current capabilities and develop action plans to address
  • Assess and prioritize new market segments, product offerings, product optimizations
  • Benchmark and trend activities of key competitors in each product segment and recommend initiatives to enhance competitiveness
  • In partnership with sales & marketing, participate in and utilize information obtained through voice-of-the-customer or customer listening sessions to design, develop and deliver products that are focused on solving market problems
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, content and development teams to develop and launch new products
  • Provide leadership in leading product management team and mentor/coach team members

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Communications, or similar
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a workflow and/or SaaS product management role
  • Successful multi-channel management and/or marketing of a B2B SaaS solution preferred
  • Successful B2B SaaS management experience preferred
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Google Docs, Excel, Gantt Charts, PowerPoint, Adobe, Word and/or other software/programs to support document design and delivery
  • Financial management skills in building metrics around product portfolio
  • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and geographically dispersed work environment

The Individual

  • Experience in the Human Capital Management, Healthcare, Financial Services and/or Telecommunications industries preferred
  • Experience managing a P&L
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization
  • The ability to cross-functionally collaborate, innovate, coordinate and influence across product, content and revenue cycle stakeholders
  • Ability to manage a large and diverse product portfolio working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrating superior multi-tasking and time management capabilities.
  • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
