.NET Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a .Net Developer who develops, implements, and supports enterprise level applications that are built using Microsoft .NET and SQL Server. This position is a full time position located in our Gaithersburg, MD ofice. 

You will be responsible for building scalable and high-performance web based solutions. This role will work on all aspects of software development, including user interface development, object-oriented coding, unit and integration testing, troubleshoot software problems in test and production environments and resolve software bugs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Work independently on high complexity designs & programs.

  • Program ASP.NET applications using C#, .NET Framework (WebForms / MVC); JavaScript libraries (jQuery / AngularJS)
  • Develop front-end web applications using Cascading Style Sheets/Branding, Master Pages, Page Layouts, and various JavaScript libraries
  • Deploy web applications to production servers
  • Create and consume RESTful web services within ASP.NET applications
  • Develop stored procedures, functions and queries using T-SQL (SQL Server)
  • Maintain source code in a Git repository
  • Collaborate with the project manager to identify future needs, develop strategy for overall scope, implementation of features for releases, implementation of requirements, and system documentation
  • Provide technical expertise to identify, evaluate, and develop effective procedures and systems requirements that align with the business requirements.
  • Understand regulatory/healthcare business concepts and practices

  • Desired skills include Node.js, Webpack, TeamCity, JIRA, Confluence, Umbraco

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience with the following technologies:
    • Microsoft Visual Studio, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript (ES2015+)
    • Solid understanding of MVC and Web Forms
    • Design Patterns, OOPS
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • XML, XSLT, JSON
    • CSS/SASS
    • RESTful web services, AJAX
    • AngularJS
    • IIS hosting
    • Git source control
    • Recent experience with Agile (Scrum) project methodologies
