Marketing Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

The Marketing Operations Specialist will help develop and drive continued automation, integration and improvement in transactional, lead generation, data gathering, and sponsored digital efforts.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Technology

  • Collaborate with marketing managers to determine and implement back-end technological logistics and solutions for all campaigns.
  • Coordinate ongoing optimization efforts for marketing processes and systems across the business unit.
  • Execute and maintain integrations expanding marketing platforms (i.e. Salesforce, IBM Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, ON24, GoToWebinar, Survey Monkey, etc.).

Reporting and Analysis

  • Provide marketing reporting, analysis and insights for the business unit; make recommendations on areas for optimization/improvement.
  • Create and maintain dashboards for marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.

Process

  • Responsible for building and maintaining scalable marketing automation programs. 
  • Proactively analyze automation efforts and provide feedback to marketers to create more targeted programs.
  • Working on special projects and serve as the SME for the marketing systems.
  • Supporting day-to-day operations of Marketing team.

The Individual:

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment working with multiple teams including Sales, Product, and Marketing
  • Ability to manage projects of varying complexity
  • Strong presentation and communication skills; including team building and support skills.
  • High level of initiative and strong problem solving skills.
  • Understanding of persona-based marketing, audience targeting and segmentation
  • Healthcare experience a plus

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years’ experience with marketing automation platforms; IBM Marketing Cloud (SilverPop) and Saleforce.com a plus.
  • 2+ years’ experience email marketing and landing page development
  • Basic HTML experience
