Account Specialist - Account Manager

CCMI is looking for an Account Specialist/Account Manager who will be responsible for protecting, growing and supporting CCMI’s customer base. The Account Specialist/Account Manager will work directly with existing and prospective subscribers, utilizing a customer focused approach.   This position is focused on outbound cold calling and upselling of existing customers.  The ideal candidate will be driven to pick up the phone, probe within a company and find the decision maker!

Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on outbound CCMI marketing programs
  • Outbound calls to existing customers
  • Prospect for new sales opportunities
  • Close inbound sales opportunities
  • Work with and support current clients to expand CCMI's customer base
  • Dealing with and responding to high volume of emails and phone calls
  • Support Customer Service, Sales and Marketing teams
  • Actively participate in sales discussions, meetings and client visits
  • Report monthly sales and support numbers to various departments
  • You will act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant internal groups
  • Some overnight travel may be required

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience with inside sales/account management. Telecom and/or Fiber/IT based network a plus.
  •  2+ years’ outbound sales experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Collaborative style and positive attitude
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Detail oriented and highly self-motivated
  • Proficient Computer skills:  Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce (CRM system)
